Sweary Poetry
for Pigeons
with Issues
For When Life’s a Bin Fire and
You’re the Only Adult Available
This is not a calm poetry collection for Sunday mornings and herbal tea.
It is, instead, a sweary poetry book written for adults who are emotionally overstimulated, mildly burnt out and held together with caffeine, sarcasm and willpower. It offers the kind of poetry that understands real life, real stress and that level of chaos that never seems to wait for a convenient time.

Part comedic meltdown, part emotional exhale, this funny poetry collection takes everyday disasters and turns them into something you can laugh at instead of cry over. Ideal for readers who love humorous poetry, mental health humour, or poems that feel like a group chat in rhyme.

Inside you will find honest, unfiltered poems about burnout, overwhelm and being human in a world that expects too much. Not elegant. Not sacred. Just the truth in a way only a pigeon with issues could tell it.

Titles include:
* Sticker Stars and Bondage Tape
* Domestic Bliss, My Arse
* Dear Anxiety, You Clingy Bastard
* A Funeral for My Give-a-Damn
And many more.
So if you are looking for relatable poetry for adults, something funny to read when you feel like you might combust, or a sweary poetry book that understands emotional chaos, this one belongs on your shelf.
Disclaimer:

This book contains adult content, potentially offensive language, and humour that some may find uncomfortable. If you're easily offended or prefer a more sanitised experience, this might not be the right reading material for you.
If, however, you're ready for unfiltered rants, real-life struggles, and a good laugh (even at the messiest parts of surviving), then buckle up and dive in.
You can grab the full book over on Amazon - I like to call this the fast lane to honest laughs and real talk. And if you’re after a signed edition or bulk order, just drop me a message - I’d love to sort you out!
My Story
I’m a mother, an author, and a proud mid-life crisis ticket holder. I’ve been published since I was 13 (yes, that poem in a nationwide kids’ writing competition absolutely counts), and I’ve never stopped telling stories that matter.

I’m a voice for anyone who can’t quite find the words, for those knee-deep in the messy middle of autism parenting, ADHD overwhelm, or just life in general. An advocate for neurodiversity and for all those awkward bits we’d rather pretend didn’t exist.
By day, I write blogs and content for real people with real businesses, and by night, I pour my chaos into my blog and books to offer a different kind of ASD support for parents - one built on honesty, humour, and the odd biscuit crumb.

I’m also an artist, graphic designer, and coffee-drinking expert (I know nothing about beans, but I can put away a latte with alarming speed). And as a not-yet-diagnosed (thanks to the terrifying assessment price tag!) ADHDer, I’m learning to find peace in the art of oversharing.

Publishing my first book in June 2025, Raising an Emotionally Charged Ostrich, has me bouncing around like a kid on Blue Smarties and half a gallon of cola. It’s a big old tick off the bucket list, and a small victory against getting old and boring.

I've since steamrolled nto more politically inappropriate, socially unacceptable, poke the bear with a stick of crude honey books. And with 1,001 ideas ping-ponging around my head, it’s time you pulled up a chair and got comfy.

I can’t promise sanity, solace, or sangria (heck, I don’t even drink!), but I can promise honesty, a few laughs, and a whole lot of reality. Because honestly, life’s too messy to go it alone.
